As-Samad
Meaning: “The Eternal Refuge”
Explanation: Allah is the one whom all creation depends on, while He depends on no one; the absolute, eternal, and self-sufficient.
Al-Bayhaqi explains, “As-Samad is the one to whom all turn in need, who is eternal and self-sufficient.”
